Molton Monthly Magazine has changed with the times but is still here serving you 17 years on from its creation! It’s nice to look through old back issues to give some perspective - and if you have any prior to June 2016 tucked away please get in touch, as I don’t have many before that date.

My editorial in the September 2024 edition is reproduced for you to read here on the recently updated website, the latest evolution in the magazine’s long and successful journey…

”There is a well-known saying ‘imitation is the sincerest form of flattery’ but I was probably more flabbergasted when, like some of you, I read of plans for a (new) ‘Molton Magazine’ locally.

”Let me be clear, this is nothing to do with your award-winning Molton Monthly Magazine, founded in 2007 and delivered through your door every month for 17 years. We’ll continue to provide a roundup of the latest news and events, support local charities, businesses and jobs and be a voice for our community.

”I’ve been lucky over the last 40 years as a news journalist to have worked on many innovative projects, sadly that also brings its imitators. However, there will only ever be one Molton Monthly Magazine and I plan to continue with business as usual. I hope you enjoy this issue.”
